When Max Rowland, Chairman of the Gasket Cutters' Association for many years, stood down at the last Annual General Meeting due to extensive work commitments, Keith Shepherd the Vice Chairman is the new Chairman. Keith commented that to follow Max will be a very difficult task as Max had spent a great deal of time and effort in making the Association what it is today. Keith also remarked that he was very proud to lead the GCA into the future.
Due to the normal rotation of directors, Jill Kirk who had served on the Board for a number of years retired. There are two new directors Mark Ambrose from LoneStar and Darren Mortiboy from Garlock to the Board. Further details on Mark and Darren can be found in the Winter 2012 edition of Cutting Edge.
